OUR VISION & VALUES
Our heart for Calvary Kids is to partner with parents to help kids know, love and follow Jesus. We believe in this next generation and are passionate about helping kids discover God’s great love for them.
We desire for kids to know that they are precious to God and that they BELONG. This is why we seek to provide a fun, safe, clean environment where kids of all ages can know that they are invited to be a part of God’s forever family.
We desire to teach kids about Jesus so they can BELIEVE and trust in Him. Jesus said “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14). Because of this, we want to lead kids to Jesus in order that they may know Him as Savior, Lord and friend!
We desire to help kids discover God’s plan for their lives so that they can BECOME His disciples and follow after Him. This is why Calvary Kids isn’t “childcare”. We want to inspire kids to obey Jesus with their whole lives; so we worship, learn from the Bible, pray and more!
SUNDAYS
We use Brite Curriculum. Each year we cover the full story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation seeking to connect kids at every age with the truths of scripture. Brite’s aim is to make disciples who can say: I believe in Jesus, I am becoming more like Him, I belong to Him forever.

For babies under 1 we have a Nursing Mom’s Room available as well as a Family Room for parents to sit and view the service while their kids play. Our Calvary Kids classrooms begin when a child turns 1.

Our 1 year olds room is staffed by volunteers that have a heart for babies & toddlers and love to care for these little ones. Class time consists of Bible stories, singing, snacks, play and the occasional fun stroll outside on our 6 seat stroller.

Our Preschool age classes are designed to help your kids learn about Jesus and His great love for them. The Gospel Project Curriculum is full of fun and interactive Bible Lessons for preschool aged kids to learn more about God at their level. All Bible lessons include a time of learning where your children will experience: prayer, interactive Bible Stories, video Bible lessons, activity pages and more. As a part of each service, a portion of the time is spent outside where the children can have fun playing at our preschool play area.

Our Kinder - 4th grade classes are designed to help kids grow to know Jesus personally and understand His Word. The Gospel Project Curriculum is full of fun and interactive Bible Lessons for Elementary age kids to learn more about God at their level. All Bible lessons include a time of learning where your children will experience: prayer, interactive Bible Stories, video Bible lessons, activity pages and more. As a part of each service, a portion of the time is spent outside where the children can have fun playing at our large playground area.
5th & 6th Grade (Club Five Six)
Our Club Five Six program aims to intentionally prepare 5th and 6th graders for following Jesus in their teen years.

As we look at this next generation and the unique pressures they are facing growing up in an increasingly secular culture, we want to come alongside you as parents and provide more opportunities to intentionally prepare 5th & 6th graders for their teen years. One of the ways that we have felt led to do this is by establishing our Pre-Teen ministry we call "Club Five Six". In Club Five Six our heart is to help prepare 5th & 6th graders for the questions and challenges they will face in their teen years.

Using Brite Curriculum specifically for this age group, kids will be exposed to an overview of the whole Bible chronologically and see God’s great story played out through creation, fall, redemption and restoration. Each Sunday includes a time of worship and outside play along with a Bible teaching, a video further communicating the lesson, activities and small groups all in an effort to help kids know God and learn to walk in His ways.

Club Five Six gathers several times a year for game nights where kids can enjoy a fun time connecting with each other and their leaders through dinner and games.

God has given parents the enormous calling and privilege of shaping and preparing their kids for a lifetime of following Jesus. Our heart is to partner with you, parents, as you endeavor to raise the next generation of Jesus followers. Here are some ways we want to serve you:

Sign up for our weekly parent newsletter to stay connected to Calvary Kids. Each week we will email you a short recap of the lesson that was taught the previous Sunday with discussion questions and optional family activities you can use. We will also occasionally include helpful links, articles, and encouragements.

Stop by our resource wall downstairs in Calvary Kids to look through some of our recommended resources. You will find books on parenting, devotions for kids, and Bibles for different age groups.

Throughout the year Calvary Kids hosts different events for the families of our church. Some of the events include: Family Movie Nights, Parents Night Out, Fall Festival, and more!

VOLUNTEER IN CALVARY KIDS
Calvary Kids focuses on making Jesus the hero in every Bible story. Volunteers in Calvary Kids will have the opportunity to help children see Jesus as their hero through fun and interactive lessons. Teachers, helpers, and worship leaders are always needed! Join us in this mission, the kids need you!
